Sunday brings the coolest start since August 15 and the promise of full sunshine and low humidity. Tomorrow also looks sweet.
SUNDAY MORNING OFFICIAL LOWS:
48 Lafayette
50 Fort Wayne
51 Muncie, Terre Haute
53 South Bend
54 Indy
55 Bloomington, Shelbyville
COLTS FORECAST:
Partly cloudy, with a south wind about 5 mph around Denver this evening, with temps falling from around 80 at game time into the low to mid 70s.
SEVERE WEDNESDAY:
Our next big deal is a cold front that arrives with showers and storms likely on Wednesday. The atomosphere seems to be lining up for a risk of severe weather, along with big rain totals.
AND THEN:
That cold front means business. Here’s one set of computer modeling for Saturday morning, which looks to be the coolest around here. (Click the picture for a larger version.) This scheme has temps in the 30s north of Indy, and a killing freeze in parts of Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Another computer model is not quite as cold, but the bottom line is…below normal numbers next weekend.
INDY ALMANAC:
The average high today is 81 and the average low is 60. Records are 98 and 42. The sun rises at 7:19 and sets at 8:07.
