Clouds and some showers overnight probably messed with your moon. That’s a shame, because the moon was full, and this is “Friday The 13th” and that won’t line up again for another 35 years. I might sleep in for that one.
That stubborn patch of clouds and some patchy light showers are possible until about the time Friday morning rush hour ends. The chance could linger until about lunch time in Muncie and Richmond.
High pressure goes to work this afternoon. It will stay on the job until late Sunday. The atmosphere looks like it will be quite dry, leading to plenty of clear skies.
The surface high will be right over the state tonight, which means a clear sky and a light wind. This ideal cooling setup should mean low in the upper 40s in most places. As the high pulls away the wind flow shifts to the southeast and a warming trend will begin.
We go above average again Sunday, for the first time in over ten days. Father’s Day could bring a few more clouds and a little more humidity by late afternoon.
Next week’s forecast still looks hot and humid, with daily chances of scattered storms, so once again our weekend/weekday timing is (dare I say?) LUCKY.
