Another stunning Saturday start gives way to thickening clouds in the afternoon and the chance of a stray storm this evening. If it happens, it would end a two-month streak. There hasn’t been measurable precipitation at the Indy Airport on a Saturday since the last one in March. (There was a trace on May 3 and May 17.)
A better chance of showers and storms follows overnight and Sunday morning. You should be able to get outside again by Sunday afternoon. I’m expecting the rain totals to be anywhere from a quarter-inch to three quarters of an inch, and the storms shouldn’t be severe.
The next round of unsettled weather threatens us with storms from Tuesday through Thursday.
