Severe storms are possible early this morning, mainly west of Indianapolis. Storms have already produced torrential rainfall in Vigo Couny, where a flood warning was issued. This thunderstorm complex will lose intensity in the morning, but more storms will fire through the day.
Storms this afternoon could be severe, mainly to the south and southeast of Indy. The Storm Prediction Center plots the slight risk to the south of a line from just north of Vincennes through Martinsville through Greenwood, then just north of New Castle and Richmond.
