There was at least a trace of rain every day of the last work week. This week? One day. You’re a Hoosier, so you like weather variety, right?
It will be a mostly to partly sunny day, with highs all over the state right around 70, with some low 70s south and southwest of Indy. A warm front approaches tonight and will bring more clouds. There could be some showers in the northern quarter of Indiana. In central Indiana it will be partly sunny and breezy tomorrow. Temps should hit 80 for the first time in exactly a week.
A cold front will drop down Wednesday, and the Storm Prediction Center has placed all of central and southern Indiana under a slight risk of severe weather. Some of the storms could produce large hail and damaging winds.
The good news? There’s nothing blocking the upper flow this week, so the front should keep on moving – out of the area – Thursday morning. High pressure rules through Race Day!
This should be a good week to catch up on your lawn work. And here’s the reason your grass is so green…last week’s rain totals:
2.81″ Richmond
2.56″ Indy
2.35″ Bloomington
2.26″ Muncie
1.68″ Terre Haute
1.62″ Lafayette
