Things are looking up!. Temps are going up this week, and up high in the atmosphere is a little wave making some moisture mischief Monday morning. This wave will kick out a few showers and rumbles of thunders until late morning. Amounts should be fairly light.
That waves exits this afternoon. Once again today there will be a big spread in high temperatures, from the low 60s in Kokomo to Muncie to Richmond to the low to mid 70s in Terre Haute through Bloomington and Columbus. The high in Lafayette will be around the mid 60s, and almost 70 in Indianapolis. The coolest highs will come in the same areas that have the biggest shower chances and thickest clouds.
A warm front lifts north through the state Wednesday, and temperatures will warm to around 80 throughout Central Indiana. Indianapolis hasn’t reached 80 since October 4 of last year.
Shower and storm chances begin after midnight Thursday night, and several periods of showers and storms are likely Friday. Our streak of Saturday sunshine is in jeopardy next weekend, with a shower and storm chance Saturday.
