We lose the Flood Watch and gain a Wind Advisory today. Winds could gust to 45 mph between 11am and 8pm. Shower chances will fade by afternoon, and temperatures will gradually fall today.
It was the rain that was falling yesterday. Over three inches was measured in Carmel, and four inches fell in Columbus. Here are some other storm totals:
3.02″ Bloomington
2.81″ Muncie
2.72″ Terre Haute
2.36″ Lafayette
2.15″ Indianapolis
Tornadoes were reported yesterday in Illinois, Texas and Missouri. The severe weather threat shifts to the east today, along with the cold front. Colder air returns for us tonight, but the next few days are nice and quiet. (Good timing on that.)
I think we’ll see rain again Monday, and that shower chance will continue Tuesday. Temps will be around or a little below average for the first half of next week, it’s back to the 60s for a few day starting Thursday.
Today: Temps falling through the 50s. Chance of showers this morning. Wind gusting to 40 mph in the midday through early evening.
