Rain will continue to diminish from the northwest to the southeast through the early to mid afternoon. Another round of showers and storms will arrive late evening and overnight, followed by a front that will move through Friday morning. The mostly likely time for the next soakers are between 11pm tonight and 8am Friday. Up to another inch may fall, added to a general 1.5 to 3 inch rainfall that has already flooded the state. A Flood Watch for central Indiana will continue.
Additionally, there is a slight risk for some storms to become severe overnight and into early Friday. Temperatures will be fairly steady Thursday evening and early Friday morning. They will peak in the low 60s before falling through the 50s the rest of Friday. The wind will also pick up Friday midday and afternoon – gusting to 40 mph.
Nice and quiet weather still looks to be the weekend story, with highs in the mid 50s and lows around freezing.
