FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDIANAPOLIS IN 1108 AM EST FRI JAN 10 2014 The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Flood Warning for portions of the following rivers in central, western and southern Indiana. Driftwood River...Eel River...East Fork White River...White River...Wabash River... Lowland river flooding will develop this weekend and continue through the week of January 12. At this time significant flooding as experienced in December is not anticipated. Late Friday morning a snow pack of 4 to more than 10 inches covered much of central and northern Indiana. The combination of slow to moderately melting snow and rainfall of one-half to nearly an inch by Saturday afternoon will cause lowland flooding late in the weekend. High water will continue much of next week.
