Minor snow accumulations are possible by the time you’re driving to work Tuesday morning. So look away from the computer screen right now and try to memorize today. If you’re going to have a couple sunny days you might as well have them on the weekend. There will be differences today, however, including about a ten degree drop from yesterday’s highs. Saturday was only the second time this month Indy’s made it to 60….as warm as its been all month. Muncie also hit 60. It was 61 in Lafayette, and 62 in Bloomington and Terre Haute. Highs today will range from the upper 40s in Muncie and Richmond to around 50 in Lafayette and the low 50s elsewhere. It won’t be as windy as Saturday, when the peak gust hit 33 mph in Indy, 32 mph in Lafayette, 31 in Muncie, 30 in Bloomington, and 29 mph in Terre Haute. (I think we just rolled a large straight.) The biggest news on the weather horizon continues to be the Arctic front that slams into the state tomorrow afternoon. It will arrive in Indy during afternoon rush hour, bringing rain chances that would turn to snow chances by mid to late evening. Less than an inch is expected by early Tuesday, with flurries following the rest of the day. Highs will only be in the 30s Tuesday and Wednesday.]]>
