A little less, then a little more in Friday’s weather store. Morning temperatures come in lower than the day before, which means the 20s. And wind chills in the low 20s. That chill won’t pass 40 ’til you have lunch. (Hot soup for Mister Weatherman.) The afternoon brings a little more heat than yesterday, with highs around 50. A little cooler in Muncie and Richmond, where highs will only be in the upper and mid 40s. The weekend will be dry, despite a glancing blow from a warm front tonight and a direct hit from a cold front tomorrow afternoon. The warm front will help to keep some clouds around tonight and give us a brief bounce on the highs Saturday. The cold front kills the temperature buzz by Saturday night, and we will return to sub-normal numbers Sunday. The wind could be a factor in your Fall fight against the leaves Saturday, as it gusts to 30mph. Colts tailgating will be cold and sunny. Veterans Day gets a little cloudier and there are rain and snow shower chances by Monday evening, with another cold front that has “Arctic” written all over it. Highs will only be in the upper 30s to around 40 (with snow showers continuing) Tuesday, and in the 30s Wednesday. I don’t expect any big accumulations here, but it does appear the Eastern part of the country could get socked Tuesday and Wednesday from a system moving up the Coast.
