Well…it won’t be *beautiful* today or tomorrow. But it will be quiet. Indiana is fighting mid and high altitude clouds moving in with milder air that is preceding a big storm out West. Four to eight inches of snow could fall between Colorado and Michigan today through tomorrow. Meanwhile, one to three inches of rain will fall in the warmer air in the southern Plains down to Texas. That precipitation gets here Wednesday and it will be all rain. Probably all day. Oh no, not THAT again! Those recently spectacular leaves will get another rinsing. Early indications point to anywhere from three-quarter to one-and-a-quarter inch of rain Wednesday. It could linger into Thursday morning, especially in Muncie and Richmond, where it may not get going until Wednesday afternoon. We can change our clocks all we like, but we can’t stop the March Of Time. Sunrise/sunset today is 7:17am and 5:40pm – and by tomorrow it’s 7:19am and 5:38pm in Indy. Yep, losing about four minutes a day, Standard time or not. After a two-day dip below normal we should return to nearly normal today. Highs will be in the mid 50s in Richmond, the mid to upper 50s in Muncie, and upper 50s in Indy and Lafayette. Highs will be around 60 in Bloomington and Terre Haute. INDY ALMANAC: The average high today is 58 and the average low is 39. Records are 78 and 16. The sun rises at 7:17 and sets at 5:40. PAUL’S PREVIOUS PREDICTION: Yesterday’s high was 52.
