Get set for the return of clouds today. A cold front passes through, bringing those passing clouds. It should generally get brighter again this afternoon, although clouds could be stubborn in spots, especially east. Therefore I’m forecasting 52 in Richmond, 53 in Muncie, 55 in Indy and 56 in Lafayette. Terre Haute and Bloomington should hit the upper 50s. That’s better than yesterday, but you’ll also deal with southwest to west winds gusting to 30 mph. It will be partly cloudy tonight and mostly sunny Sunday. It won’t be as windy. Rain chances return Tuesday, and remain the rest of the week. The biggest threat is Thursday. Sorry, trick or treat types. It looks mild–but possibly moist. But: at least mild. After a roaring start to October temperatures, it’s been down hill since October 15. Yesterday’s low of 26 degrees at Indy is the coldest so early in the season since 1992. Not as cold this morning. The low was 35 in Lafayette, Terre Haute and Muncie, and 32 in Indy. The low was 30 in Bloomington. ]]>
