Seasons change. You could feel it last night at Lucas Oil Stadium, and you’ll feel it in this week’s weather. We’re tackling the first widespread frost of the season is expected tomorrow morning, followed by a chance of snowflakes mixing in with rain showers later Tuesday night into Wednesday. Temperatures stay below average all week. The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory going from 4-9 am Tuesday. (The Advisory does not technically cover Richmond, which is under the jurisdiction of a different Weather Service office, but I still think lows there will be around freezing also.) A cold front is driving this chill, and that front may generate a few light showers or sprinkles in the midday, afternoon, and early evening today. After Tuesday’s frosty start…some sun, then afternoon clouds and a good shot at showers from a clipper diving to the southeast. It still appears a few flakes could mix in with the showers late night Tuesday into at least Wednesday morning. You can divide this month exactly in half. Only two days of the first 15 were below average, but EVERY day has been averaging below normal since. I don’t see much change through the end of through Halloween. BOO! INDY ALMANAC: The average high today is 64 and the average low is 43. Records are 86 and 23. The sunrise time is 8:01 and the sun sets at 6:58. PAUL’S PREVIOUS PREDICTION: Yesterday’s high was 63. My forecast was 62. DETAILED INDIANAPOLIS FORECAST: Today: Mostly cloudy with a few light showers or sprinkles in the midday and afternoon. High 59.
