We’re on the other side of a cold front today. The front brought no noticeable rain for most folks, but it will be up to ten degrees cooler today, with a mostly sunny sky all day. The front was preceded by a thick layer of high clouds. The maximum temps yesterday came just before the clouds. Terre Haute made it to 78 by 12:22pm. The Lafayette high of 77 arrived at 1:14pm. The clouds moved eastward and Indy’s high of 77 came at 1:50pm. Bloomington’s high of 79 arrived at 1:55pm. Farther east, Muncie’s high of 79 didn’t come until 3:36pm. Lafayette stays in the upper 60’s today. Indy, Muncie and Richmond should all end up around 70. A cool night is ahead, with Monday morning lows running around 41 in Lafayette and Muncie, 43 in Bloomington and Richmond, and about 45 in Indy. Another sunny day Monday, then another front arrives Tuesday. Best rain chances are from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning. Even cooler air will pour in behind this system, with our longest stretch of below average days so far this month. INDY ALMANAC: The average high today is 66 and the average low is 45. Records are 86 and 24. The sun rises at 7:53 and it sets at 7:08. PAUL’S PREVIOUS PREDICTION: Yesterday’s high was 77. My forecast was 78.]]>
