More rain? More rain! Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible this morning, becoming more numerous the afternoon and evening as a cold front moves into the state. We could see heavy rainfall at times, although I don’t expect as much as yesterday. The forecast is for half an inch to an inch of precipitation. The Storm Prediction Center is expecting severe storms to form just to the east and northeast of central Indiana. Yesterday’s Indy total of 1.53 inches was the biggest one-day rainfall amount since April 18. It wiped out the year-to-date deficit. The South Bend total of 3.44 inches was the biggest one-day total there for the entire year.
