The chance of the roof being closed for the Colts today (according to Jim) is 100 percent. The chance for a shower or storm on your tail (gater) is only about 20 or 30 percent. It beats nothing, and nothing’s been the official Indy rain total so far this month. Same story in Lafayette and Muncie. Bloomington had a little rain last Sunday, on the first of the month. A weak cold front will drift south into the state today. The best of the slim storm chances will be south and southwest of Indy. Don’t hold your breath in Richmond or Muncie. The front will move back northward tomorrow as a warm front. No rain is expected with this, but the humidity will increase Monday and it will stay muggy through Wednesday. Summer stays for three days, as we wait on a stronger cold front to arrive Wednesday night and Thursday with storms. Following that front: a nice (and less-Summer-like) weekend! INDY ALMANAC: The average high today is 81 and the average low is 60. Records are 97 and 38. The sun rises at 7:20 and sets at 8:05. PAUL’S PREVIOUS PREDICTION: Yesterday’s high was 88. My forecast was 87. DETAILED INDIANAPOLIS FORECAST: Today: Mostly to partly sunny. Slight chance of a shower, perhaps with some thunder. High 87. Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 65.
