A gradual warming trend continues today, and you will notice the humidity again by the middle of the week. Enjoy the bright sky and light wind. (That light wind will contribute to early morning patchy fog.) High temperatures will be right around average today and then above normal for the next several days. We’re due. The last monthly temperature average that was above normal was May. This month is running a 2.5 degree deficit. The 8-14 Day Forecast shows no bias toward either cooler or warmer temps, but points to above average precipitation. Precipitation chances this week look limited to Wednesday and Friday. Wednesday’s chance springs from an upper level low that should center in southern Indiana. Friday’s shot at showers and storms would come from an advancing front, but it’s not certain that southward-moving front will even wander into central Indiana. INDY ALMANAC: The average high today is 84 and the average low is 64. Records are 100 and 50. The sun rises at 7:01 and it sets at 8:35. PAUL’S PREVIOUS PREDICTION: Yesterday’s high was 83.
