A bit of a civil weather war this weekend. Upper level low pressure is spinning away to our south, and showers and storms will be around along the Ohio River valley. We will catch some clouds in central Indiana. Generally the mix will favor sunshine north of Indy and clouds south. That low moves northeastward tomorrow. Close enough to bring a slight chance of showers and storms to the southern half of the state, including Indianapolis, including the many Moto fans. Best chances will be in the afternoon and evening. Meanwhile, another mostly mild weekend should make the Midway a happy place. It’s been a cooler-than-average stretch for the Fair, and for the rest of central Indiana. Last year at this point we’d had 49 90+ days! This year? Five. Also, last year most of the state was in an extreme drought. Despite our lack of recent rainfall that is not the case this year. INDY ALMANAC: The average high today is 84 and the average low is 65. Records are 99 and 52. The sun rises at 6:59 and sets at 8:38. PAUL’S PREVIOUS PREDICTION: Yesterday’s high was 77.
