Ma Nature deals us a deck of mid and high level clouds for the first part of Friday, but I don’t think the entire day will be overcast. It will be under budget again as far as typical temperatures. Those won’t return until next week, when we flip the switch and go a little above average. Humidity will also be higher after Monday. No more 40 degree weather Friday morning, but the 50s will still feel refreshing. Three days of motorcycle mania begin with events that lead up to the Red Bull Indianapolis GP at the Track Sunday. The weekend weather wild card is an area of low pressure that will approach southern Indiana from the east on Sunday. I think there is still at least a slight shower and storm chance Sunday, but it should only be from Indy southward. Nothing severe is expected. In fact: as of Friday morning the Storm Prediction Center isn’t expecting ANY severe weather throughout the country now through Sunday. The month’s half over and so far: 7 days below average and 6 days above. The other two? Exactly average. BTW, the “below” days have been farther above the “above” days, so the average monthly temp is running 2.3 degrees below normal. INDY ALMANAC: The average high today is 84 and the average low is 65. Records are 102 and 50. The sun rises at 6:58 and it sets at 8:40. PAUL’S PREVIOUS PREDICTION: Yesterday’s high was 74. My forecast was 76.
