A nice summer weekend is ahead, if you can just fight some Friday fog.
Visibility will be lower the first part of the day, as some recent rain combines with a still-muggy atmosphere. That fog will thin through the morning but the chance of a few spotty showers will remain until the afternoon. The chance now looks to end by the evening, so Miranda and Dierks should be fine at Klipsch.
Humidity will fall by this evening and it should stay comfortable through the weekend. With temperatures a shade below average you can expect some big crowds for the deep fried platters at the Fair, and you can expect good weather for the John Mayer/Phillip Phillips combo platter Saturday Night at Klipsch. Some sunshine should be around arriving and departing Lucas Oil Stadium for the Colts pre-game event Sunday.
This week’s spotty precipitation produced an inch in some locations, but barely budged the rain gauges to the southwest of Indy. Our next rain and storm chance comes with a front Monday afternoon and Monday evening. Next week looks quieter than the one we are wrapping up today.
