The morning low dipped to 12 today in Indy, and 7 in Lafayette. Some places saw a fresh dusting of snow in some locations. Snow showers rolled through the metro area late Saturday evening, putting down a quick coating of about one-quarter to one-half inch of snow. That’s it for snow until Tuesday morning. High pressure is right over the state today, and should help to bring plenty of sunshine. The morning wind and temperature combination is still frigid, but it will feel about ten degrees warmer this afternoon compared to yesterday. And, there IS that sunshine. Tonight’s lows won’t be as cold, and the weather will stay quiet. Winds will pick up a bit, and breezes by Monday afternoon could bring gusts of up to 35 mph. Tomorrow’s temps are the biggest in my forecast Milder temps tomorrow will be associated with a storm system ejecting from the Plains. First a warm front moves through the state, and then a cold front arrives late night Monday night. In between, rain is likely. A little light snow could be a Tuesday morning wildcard for your drive. Then: colder and bright Wednesday. Mixed precipitation is still possible Thursday.]]>
