Here’s a map of the Winter Storm Watch now in place for much of central Indiana Tuesday evening into Wednesday. All of the precip should fall as snow. As much as 5-9 inches could accumulate by Wednesday evening. With the storm still a few days away there could definitely be changes in the track, but you might want to have some alternated plans in place, post-Christmas:) BUY EGGNOG! And watch this space for updates.
This storm could also impact my Evansville-area listeners at Q102-land. Snow is likely in South Bend for NewsTalk 95-3 listeners, but shouldn’t be quite as heavy.
Additionally: There could be areas of freezing drizzle early morning Monday, so if you’re hitting the stores early or going to work (like me, on WISH TV Monday morn) be ready for suddenly slippery spots.
