It’s the coldest morning in ten months, with central Indiana temps down into the teens.
Clouds still connected to that powerful storm system from Thursday and Friday kept the temperatures up in the 20s for much of the night. Clearing worked in slowly from the southwest, and Indy dropped from 20 to 16 between 4 and 5am as the clearing line reached the center of the state.
As of 7am the Indy morning low was 14. The last time it was that cold was February 11. You were doing Valentines Day shopping then, but today it’s Christmas crowds, but without clouds. Expect plenty of sun, and it will be at least partly sunny Sunday.
There are chances of precip all around Christmas Day itself. A slight chance of rain and snow Monday afternoon and snow showers Monday night. Then, a better chance for snow Tuesday night into Wednesday. It looks to be another accumulating snowfall.
