Blame “Sandy.”
A “Wind Advisory” in place from 5pm Monday to 8pm Tuesday for much of Indiana, including the Indianapolis area. Expect sustained winds of 25-35 mph and gusts to 50 mph.
There’s a chance of showers on Tuesday in the northeast quarter of the state. Chances are smaller around Indy, but will increase the farther north and east that you go. Precip would be mainly rain, but some wet snow flakes could mix in. The rain should fade by Wednesday afternoon.
