If you look up “feast or famine” in the dictionary you might get the attached chart that indicates Saturday rainfall. Up to five inches fell in Warren county, which is just west of Lafayette. Lafayette itself only picked up .15″ of an inch, but that’s .15″ more than *I* got.
“Da Region” got a good Saturday soaking also. Rain continued Sunday in the northeast corner of Indiana, which is good, because it’s one of the areas hardest hit by the drought. South Bend’s weekend total made it all the way to .32″ of an inch.
Another Drought Dry Spot is southwest Indiana, which got some scattered weekend storms, although Evansville only recorded .04″ of precip.
