Lafayette fell to 26 degrees early Wednesday morning. The low fell to 27 in Bloomington, and it was 28 in Fort Wayne. The low was 29 in Indianapolis, Shelbyville, Terre Haute, and South Bend.
This morning’s Indianapolis low is the first sub-freezing temperature since the 27 degree low of March 10. Today’s cold temps also mean Indy will have the first back-to-back “colder than average” days since March 4/5th!
Today and tomorrow morning represent a low point of recent overall temperature trends. The high point came when March heat peaked at 84 degrees on the 21st.
There will be one more morning of freezing temperatures Thursday.
