If there’s one thing I learned from watching Super Bowl commercials, it’s that people like their cars. REALLY like ’em, sometimes. So I don’t want you hurting the one you love. Steer carefully through patches of freezing fog this morning. Temperatures are below freezing this morning, and there is little or no wind. Wind chill isn’t the problem, fog freezing on some surfaces, such as elevated roadways, IS a potential factor.
There’s was not only a fitting end to a Storybook Super Bowl Storyline….there was also a fitting end to a Storybook Super Bowl Weather Story. Colts blue sky yesterday, with more above average temperatures. Overall this week will be a letdown. Not just mentally: temps will be closer to average by Wednesday through Friday, and maybe even below average by next weekend. A little light snow is possible Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, with than an inch expected. As per normal in the “winter” of 2011-2012.
