This map shows the worst places for traveling today across the country. A storm with its heavy rain, snow and gusty winds is still over the Northeast, and I’m sure that will translate to Airport delays in several big cities.
The snow is clogging roads across upstate New York and northern New England, while rain soaks southern New England and the mid-Atlantic coast.
The steadiest rain will depart during the midday hours. However, gusty winds will keep things bumpy for air travelers. It will still be a little wet, especially in the morning, for motorists traveling through the mountains of the Virginias, North Carolina and Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley.
And here’s the map for the Big Day, with nice for weather for most, and a stormy pattern over the Pacific Northwest and parts of the West Coast.
