Let’s synchronize our weather: Sky? Bright. Wind? Light. Done.
Here’s a map showing today’s expected highs. Above average numbers will continue through the middle of next week.
Fall’s alive and well in the West, with up to two feet of snow in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Winds are strong between that strong area of low pressure…
…and this high, anchored over Pennsylvania. Wind flow from it sends us a light southeast breeze today.
Friday’s big map reveals that high to be the major player. It’ll send a nasty on-shore flow of wind and rain to Florida through the weekend, and keep that storm system to the west from getting too far to the east for awhile.
