The Indianapolis airport received the most rainfall Monday in one calendar day in nearly three months. From 1 am to noon the official Indy total was 1.24 inches. That’s is the most rainfall the Airport has received in a single calendar day since 2.03 inches fell on June 20.
Significant rainfall was not limited to the airport. Much of Marion County received over an inch of rainfall while dry areas of southwest Indiana picked up as much as 2 inches.
