It’ll be soupy, but not quite as hot for the run today. Scroll down for my complete forecast. Conditions are likely to be muggy, with temps in the upper 70’s for tomorrow’s POG 8k in Morristown. There will still be at least a slight shower and storm chance south of Indianapolis tomorrow in the morning.
My son Graham and I will be going back this year, and the good news is he’s now old enough to join me for the adult hydration that follows the Race. As organizer Ken Long and Associates puts it:
Rest & Recovery and the Award Ceremony will be in the beautiful and shady gardens of the Kopper Kettle Inn Restaurant. This year’s terrific refreshments will consist of corn on the cob, chicken wings, bananas, oranges, iced tea, lemonade and cold beer on tap.
My kind of R&R:)
