Indianapolis reached 90 degrees by 11am Friday, so it’s day 13 of consecutive 90’s. More clouds/rain to the north have held temps below 90 there.
This map shows the Heat Advisory confined to southern Indiana today. Afternoon clouds and scattered showers will sink southward into the state, providing a little relief.
It is POSSIBLE the streak could be broken tomorrow. It’ll be close, with highs expected to be right at 90. Low 90’s are likely Sunday through next week, so if we don’t break the streak tomorrow, it appears this will become the longest one on record. The longest now is 19 consecutive days, from back in 1936.
