A tornado watch is in place for a good chunk of Illinois and Missouri until 10pm Indiana time tonight. The Storm Prediction Center has under a Moderate risk through the rest of the night. Be alert to more scattered storms firing late the afternoon, then a squall line late tonight. ANY of these storms have the potential to start rotating. More heavy rain and large hail is likely, and tornadoes WILL be a threat. As of 2pm, only hail reports into the Storm Prediction Center, but that will change. A fire earlier in Greenfield at the Hancock County Public Library may have been lightning-related. No injuries were reported.
