Once upon a time, in 1991, Paul had a perm. And not a modest little perm, either. A big ol’ Seinfeldian perm/mullet that Tom finds baffling. We are attaching pictures just to prove it is real. And spectacular. The perm wasn’t permanent, though. Tom admires the many “Looks” Paul has had through his years in Indianapolis. There is mustache Paul, glasses Paul, and now Perm Paul. Paul thinks the variety may be the secret to his longevity.
The talk turns to TV shows, and we learn the name of a popular sitcom that neither of the boys liked. Tom did have a soft spot for “King Of Queens,” because he could relate to a husband with a wife who obviously could have done better. That leads to a story about a dude warning Tom to “be good” to his Big Rig. P & T finish #54 by arguing about “materialism” and fast cars.
