Sunday Update: NO WARNINGS today! It shouldn’t be as windy. It will be cooler, with highs only in the 50’s. Typically cool trick or treat temps this evening in the 40’s.
(Saturday’s Update)
Freeze warnings and Red Flag Warnings are back this morning. Click here for more maps and details. Coldest temps early will be in the east central and southeast part of Indiana; heads up WQME listeners in Anderson – you have the warning until 9am. I foolishly agreed to go running in the woods (it IS Halloween weekend) with Tom Davis in THIS place, which MIGHT make it back up to freezing by the time we take off. I’d rather be in Poteet, Texas..
The Red Flag Warning will go from Noon to 7pm across most of central and southern Indiana. That includes all of WZPL and 479xx country, and the Muncie area for Double X-C listeners. Winds by lunchtime could gust to 20-30mph again. More leaves, and funky Halloween displays blowing through your yard. My toupee has made it through the week ok…but I think the part used to be on the other side.
A cold front will move through tonight, with just a few extra clouds, and a few degrees less heat tomorrow. Highs today will be around 60 for NewsTalk 95.3 listeners in the Bend, to the low to mid 60’s in the heart of central Indiana. Sunday highs will be in the 50’s. Go here for specific zone forecasts for anywhere, anytime. Have a great Paul PoTweekend.
