Our audience weighs in with their comments on the overnight Canal Crawl. We feature a listener-submitted dramatization of the arresting dialog between the Officer and the Punter. We also find the eerie similarities between the incident and an REM song called “Nightswimming.”
All this sports talk drives Tom back to defend his position as a fan of not being a fan. He likes Mrs. Poteet but really wishes she wasn’t a big NFL fan. It doesn’t seem to be bothering Paul. The show wraps up with audio from the would-be politician from New York who wants us to know “The Rent Is Too Damn High.” Tom wants Paul to check out his facial hair, and Paul thinks he may be the second coming of Burl Ives. His picture adorns This Damn Show.
