Through the first 46 days of meteorological summer (June 1- July 16)…the average temperature at Indianapolis has been 76.7 degrees, good for the 10th warmest first 46 days to meteorological summer. The total precipitation is 10.42 inches, making summer 2010 as the 12th wettest so far. I should explain that “meteorological summer” runs from the start of June through the end of August.
I should explain some other facts and figures too, which I will in this week’s Indiana Weather Almanac, produced by 12 Stars Media, and sponsored by Hare Chevy.
