Three dozen tornadoes have been reported today as of 4pm, with Mississippi hit hardest. A slight to moderate risk continues this evening across Indiana.
Central Indiana should have some dry time from mid through late morning today. The biggest threat of rain and storms today will move in from the southwest right around lunch and stay through mid evening.
As you see from the Storm Prediction Center map, the southern half of Indiana has a slight risk for severe weather. An outbreak of severe weather today is predicted for the Deep South. Another, final, wave of low pressure brings a pretty good rain chance to the state again tomorrow. Rain–more than storms–would be the issue tomorrow.
