Organizers of the Moto GP probably didn’t worry too much about Tropical weather when they put the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on the schedule. However….all signs point to Hurricane Ike’s remaining circulation heading straight to central Indiana in mid to late afternoon Sunday. Heavy rains and gusty winds are possible Sunday from around 1pm to 8pm. The remnants could also spin up a few isolated tornadoes. These twisters are usually not as intense as our typical tornadoes, but they can sneak up on you because they are also not usually accompanied by as much lightning or hail as we are used to.
