My oldest son, apparently deciding I have free time to burn, has introduced me to “Digsby,” which is an small application that monitors your Facebook and MySpace accounts and can combine IM/chat functions from Google and Yahoo and such. It can also display your incoming email from various accounts. AND if you install it on the carpet I think it will vacuum while you watch “Sportscenter.”
I don’t do IM, but I have ended up in a few Facebook chats, once I figured out why my computer was making noises and popping up windows. It’s only a matter of time until this thing comes in a Blackberry flavor. Then all productivity is lost, right? Time keeps on slippin’, slippin’ into the Digsby. As for me, I won’t rest until I can receive Facebook News Feeds via my dental fillings.
