Been a bad blogger later, what with the month of May and all. Maybe just a bit over-scheduled. Maybe there needs to be software that reads what you’re thinking and then automatically uploads in convenient Word-Press-formatted thought balloons. With some sort of spell check, of course. The month brought some time at the Track, both on the Start/Finish line, and under a tent. May also meant standing on a stage in front of 700 people at the Indiana Roof Ballrom next to Tom Davis while he was dressed as Captain America. It meant dressing like a woman on the internet, and appearing with no pants again, just one short week later. Do you see a pattern? Should I see a Doctor?
The superhero stint sprang from a gig The Paul And Tom Live Show did for the 2008 Mira Awards, which is a black tie event organized by TechPoint. They represent the technology community, including publicly-traded companies, private businesses, colleges and research universities, and local economic development organizations. The Mira Awards highlight Indiana’s most innovative and successful tech-driven organizations. It’s the largest technology awards program in the state. Some of the organizers are OFF THE CUFF fans, and thought the two people behind that comedic use of new technology would be a good fit for a celebration of other innovation statewide. Clearly they were mistaken. More pics from the night are coming to MySpace-ville, via paulandtomshow.com.
