Indiana’s Weather For Monday

March 12, 2018

We woulda had more sun today if not for Daylight Saving(s) Time, but I don’t wanna start anything. (And I like the light in the evening anyway(s)). A cold front arrives this afternoon, and the northwest wind gets gusty, and the northern half of the state could get dusted with almost-Spring-snow.

Another wave within a trough of low pressure above the surface will zip through the state during the day Tuesday. Snow showers could fly, maybe mixed with a little rain. A quick dusting is possible north and northeast of Indy. Here’s a computer projection showing that trough lifting away by Thursday. Tempers will be closer to average then…through the weekend.

Today: Clouds increase and there will be a few rain and/or snow showers this afternoon. Northwest wind gusting to 25 mph in the afternoon. High 41.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with a few evening flurries. Low 27.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy. Scattered rain and/or snow showers. High 39.
Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy. Low 23.
Wednesday: Partly sunny. High 41.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy. Low 31.
Thursday: Mostly sunny. High 50.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear. Low 29.

Friday: Partly sunny. High 48.

Friday Night: Shower chances late. Low 34.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy. Scattered showers. High 54.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy. Scattered showers. Low 41.
