A humid and unstable air mass across central Indiana during the middle part of June and again near the end of the month combined with various weather systems allowed copious amounts of rain to fall across Indiana. Some of the heavy rain came from the remnants of Tropical Storm Bill. During the 26th in to early the 27th, widespread rain of 2 to over 4 inches fell on top of the saturated ground. This caused numerous flooding problems across mainly northern sections of central Indiana, including water rescues of people from cars and flooding to homes.]]>
