An estimated 35,000 runners and walkers traveled the 13.1 miles from Downtown to the Track and back. George Towett from Kenya finished first. His unofficial time: 1 hour, 5 minutes, 8 seconds. Kenyans had won 15 years in a row until a Moroccan won a year ago. This year Kenyans swept the top five places. It’s like Penske at IMS with these guys.
