I’m pleased to report that my jobs situation(s) are looking mostly sunny, now that I’ve stumbled across the newspaper (for younger readers–it’s like a “Drudge Report,” only on paper) ad you see to the right. Radio Television Experts are in demand! You always hear about the Space Race. Who knew there was a Television race? And…Italy? If you read the last paragraph carefully you’ll also see the phrase “high definition television.” So really, the call letters given should say “W9XAL…HD” I bet that Woodrow Wilson was a looker in hi-def. But I’m no expert.
The other interesting image is a picture someone sent me on the occasion of Soupy Sales’ passing. Soup was a part of a, uh, diverse WNBC Radio lineup in the 80’s. The publicity shot I was sent shows Don Imus, Soupy, Howard Stern, and Wolfman Jack. Imagine those staff meetings.

I'm friends with several folks who attend the church of Howard, and I know there's no space between the "Ba" and the "Ba."
