#TBT: Mitch Seavey won his third Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race Tuesday. His son Dallas Seavey won last year, and he won in 2014, when PetPals TV went to Alaska. The Seaveys there are like the Unsers, Andretti’s, etc here. Here’s me with Dallas. That was our last bad Winter here in central Indiana, and […]
This is a photo from NASA’s Aqua satellite of Super Typhoon Nuri. The remnants of Nuri will evolve into an intense storm off the coast of Alaska this weekend. That energy will cause the jet stream to buckle allowing a Polar Plung of air into the eastern US next week.
The official story from the Home Office is below – first let me remind you to watch/DVR the show in Indy Saturday at 5:30am on WISH TV and 9:30 on WNDY TV. Pet Pals TV – America’s Animal News program, is adding nine cities to it’s station lineup. This includes Los Angeles, the nation’s 2nd […]

That’s me talking to Dallas Seavy a week and a half ago. This kid just crossed the Iditarod finish line in one of the closest finishes ever. Either he or his Dad have won the last three races. See my conversation with the winner, and plenty more of the sights and sounds of Alaska during […]
Here are the updated forecasts for all the cities I normally cover here on pp dot com, via the NWS while I’m sunning myself in Alaska: South Bend Lafayette Muncie Anderson Hendricks County Indianapolis
Good Morning or Good Afternoon (time zones) from #SpringBreak14, almost live from Alaska.
I took a quick look on a slow internet connection, and it’s possible that 6-10 inches of snow could fall in central Indiana from Saturday Night through Monday morning. It may be mixed with some sleet and freezing rain, especially south of Indianapolis. For the last few weeks I’ve been showing you the “Big 10” […]
SRSLY. And I won’t be leaving you un-covered with respect to Winter coverage. This site will continue updating with National Weather Service information through the weekend and next week. You might not even notice I’m gone. #SpringBreak
