...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northern Hendricks
and south central Boone Counties through 445 PM EDT...
At 427 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Danville, or 21 miles west of Indianapolis, moving northeast at 10
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Brownsburg, Danville, Pittsboro, Jamestown, North Salem, and Lizton.
This includes Interstate 74 between mile markers 53 and 67.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
