Southeastern Bartholomew County in central Indiana...
Northern Jennings County in southeastern Indiana...
* Until 815 PM EDT.
* At 735 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 10 miles north of North Vernon, or 13 miles east of
Columbus, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* Locations impacted include...
Westport, Elizabethtown, Millhousen, Newpoint, Letts, and Grammer.
This includes Interstate 74 between mile markers 140 and 144.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
