...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northern Monroe and
southeastern Owen Counties through 330 PM EDT...
At 304 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles east of Spencer, or 10 miles northwest of Bloomington. This
thunderstorm was nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Spencer, Ellettsville, Gosport, Stinesville, and McCormicks Creek
State Park.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
